ECRM Imaging Systems launches new Division focused on Advanced Product Design and Contract Manufacturing
September 28, 2018ECRM Imaging Systems announces that it has successfully completed all requirements for ISO13485 registration.
For ECRM Imaging Systems, achieving this prestigious international quality standard certification means that the company’s Engineering Solutions contract manufacturing division can now expand its position in design and manufacture of Medical Devices, as it is in full compliance with all FDA requirements.
The effort needed to achieve this registration is considerable, and indicates the company’s commitment to the highest standards of quality manufacturing. As ISO 13485 is one of the most demanding quality standards available, this certification is also highly relevant to the manufacture of advanced complex products in many fields. These can include equipment in technologies such as scanning, imaging, material handling, robotics and automation.
ECRM has already seen considerable growth in its Engineering Solutions contract manufacturing group since its launch in 2016. In addition to its work in Medical devices, it has successfully completed projects for customers in areas as varied as LED optics, 3D printing, specialized Photonics and fluid analysis.
The foundation of this growth is the company’s skills and experience (established over many years) in the design and manufacture of complex optical/mechanical systems, involving a wide variety of lasers, electro-mechanical subsystems, and s/w control.
