North Andover, MA USA – April 26, 2016 – ECRM Imaging Systems has announced it has establishing a new division aimed at providing engineering, prototyping and manufacturing services to third party customers. They will focus on complex electro-optical products and subsystems, important to a variety of industry segments including Medical devices, Optical Scanning, Photonics, Material Handling, Automation and Robotics.
This expansion is based on ECRM’s long experience in the field of laser scanning and imaging, and a unique combination of skills (established over many years) in the design and manufacture of complex optical/mechanical systems requiring a wide variety of lasers, electro-mechanical subsystems, and s/w control.
They will provide a range of services from design to prototyping, test, and large-scale manufacturing. ECRM will also offer specialized services and provide value engineering to existing products – part of a “design for manufacturing” orientation which speeds production and cut costs. This is part of a corporate focus on ensuring cost effective and manufacturable solutions for its customers.
ECRM has full infrastructure geared toward manufacturing high technology products. This includes state of the art production systems, and a manufacturing team trained in six sigma, lean manufacturing techniques and inventory control.
